Northeast Florida has so many beautiful locations for portraits. In this blog I’m going to highlight one of my most requested locations for engagement portraits in Northeast Florida!

Just about an hour south of my home base of Jacksonville, Florida are the beautiful gardens of Washington Oaks Gardens State Park in Palm Coast, Florida. The tropical gardens of this park are the perfect backdrop for capturing engagement portraits, anniversary portraits, family portraits, and more!

With just a $5 entrance fee to this Palm Coast park, this Florida state park has so much to offer. The formal gardens offer a wide variety of beautiful flowers and plants, giant oak trees, and reflection ponds. It’s truly a dream spot!

The beach area just across the street is also famous for its unique shoreline of coquina rock formations along the beach of the Atlantic Ocean.

With my 90 minute sessions, we’ll have plenty of time for an outfit change and to utilize both the gardens and the beach! I highly recommend including both in your portrait session – they’re such beautiful backdrops for portraits, and will give your gallery a beautiful variety of images to download, print, and share with loved ones!
