It was Brandy’s birthday weekend. Tyler planned a trip up from Orlando, Florida for them to stay at The Lodge and Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida to celebrate her birthday. What Brandy didn’t know is that Tyler was also planning a surprise wedding proposal, to ask her to be his wife.

Tyler found me on Instagram a week before, as he saw I captured wedding photos at The Lodge & Club recently. We chatted and planned out his big wedding proposal to Brandy.

The day of the engagement proposal was super windy, so I arrived to The Lodge and Club early just to make sure the conditions were perfect for their engagement. Luckily the wind settled, and we had the most beautiful soft light, and the weather really couldn’t have been more perfect for his marriage proposal and their mini engagement session.

Tyler walked Brandy down to the beach from their room which overlooked the fountain. He placed her in the spot we planned, and got down on one knee. Brandy of course said a big “YES” to Tyler. It was really the sweetest thing! She had no idea, and it was just so special how it all played out.

Immediately following the marriage proposal, we jumped right into their mini engagement session. We worked our way through a few quick poses, then ended by popping a bottle of champagne to celebrate!
