I love it when I get to capture portraits for my repeat clients in Jacksonville, Florida. Addison and Cassie are such a beautiful couple, and it’s always a great time when I have them in front of my camera.

We scheduled their Fall portraits at the beautiful Alpine Groves park in Fruit Cove, Florida which is located just South of Jacksonville, Florida.

Alpine Groves Park is a great place for portraits because it offers a variety of beautiful outdoor settings that provides a stunning backdrop for your portrait images. This Northeast Florida park has a mix of open grassy areas, wooded areas with tall trees, and waterways with reflections, all of which add beautiful visual interest and depth to your portraits.

Another advantage of taking portraits at Alpine Groves Park is that it allows you to take advantage of natural light. The park’s open spaces and tree canopy provide plenty of opportunities for soft, diffused light, which are very flattering for portraits. This Florida park’s location also means that you can take advantage of the changing light throughout the day, from the warm glow of sunrise or sunset to the cooler, more neutral light of midday.

Alpine Groves Park is a very sought after portrait session location in Northeast Florida. I’ve found that weekday mornings are the best times to go, if you want to avoid the crowds! Weekends during Spring and Fall are prime time for photo sessions, and tend to be very crowded. So if you’re more on the shy side, and do better without an “audience”, I always recommend week day mornings. But if you don’t mind the crowds, we can easily work around them!
